What is the Importance of Document Notarization?

Introduction: The average data of notarize document in America is around 1.25 billion in a single year only. The best part is that each transaction becomes an achievement moment for someone. Another example to take – suppose a couple living in Georgia, wants to settle down in Texas, so what is the foremost thing they need to do is? Lots of documentations. And, each of the documentation requires authentication. This process of authentication is called as notarization.

Buying a house or property will fulfill one’s dream. But property owning or for any kind of investment is not just monetary matter, rather it involves huge documentations, with proper authenticity. It is very important that everyone should trust the authenticity of legal documents or notarize document. When purchasing a home or establishing power of attorney, clarity and certainty are not vulnerable things which you can manage somehow later on.

In order to reassure that legal authenticity, there is need of stamping or sealed of the document by a government authorized public. The person who does this process called notary public and the process called notarization. The documents which are notarized by the notary public is called notarize document

  • The notary public is a government licensed person, appointed by a state government to help deter fraud. In presence of Notary public, the client signs the important documents. The notary witnesses the entire signing process of important documents like deed, any property or office agreement copy, loan or investment related documents etc. and verify the identity of the signer(s), They also verify the willingness of the clients to sign the documents, and whether they are aware of the contents of the document or transaction. If not then they cross verify the relevant documents and finally seal or stamp it.
  • Once the witness procedure is over, then the notary public sign, or seal or stamp the documents. The process can be done online or offline both ways. Usually, this process takes place in presence of the notary public and the client. And, in case of online, it happens remotely. As in, both the parties are present virtually and rest of the procedure is same.

Conclusion: Having a notarize document as similar as swearing under oath in a court of law. The authentication is done once your documents are notarized.
